The Cabinet authorised officers to consult on the proposals set out in paragraph 122 of the report, to take effect from September 2025. It noted the proposal to extend St Monica's Church in Wales Primary School to include a nursery class of 32 part-time places and move it to the Ysgol Mynydd Bychan site. It noted that the Governing Body of St Monica's will run the statutory consultation on this, and that officers will help. It noted that officers will bring a report on the outcome of the consultation to a future meeting, to seek authority on whether to publish formal proposals under section 48 of the School Standards and Organisation (Wales) Act 2013.

Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
