Joint Community & Adult Services and Environmental Scrutiny Committee. Scrutiny committees question decisions and can recommend changes. They don't make the decision.
Land at Pengam Green masterplan and temporary Gypsy and Traveller site
The minute records no decision on the masterplan or the temporary site. It records only that the Committee agreed the Chair, on its behalf, would write to the Cabinet Member conveying the Committee's observations on the way forward.
Cabinet. The Cabinet makes most of the council's decisions.
Pengam Green masterplan and temporary Gypsy Traveller site
Cabinet delegated authority to the Director of Planning, Transport & Environment to approve commissioning a masterplan for the recently acquired Pengam Green site in Tremorfa. It approved developing proposals for a temporary Gypsy Traveller site to ease overcrowding at Rover Way. Proposals must receive planning approval and verified grant funding, and will return to Cabinet before going ahead.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
