Christopher Lee was appointed as Chief Executive. The Committee also recorded that the selection process followed the appointments process, that each candidate was treated equally and fairly, and that the successful candidate was appointed on merit (on their own abilities against the job requirements).

Appointment of the Chief Executive
Council agreed to appoint Chris Lee as Chief Executive, subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks. It also agreed to appoint him as Electoral Registration Officer and Returning Officer. The vote was 59 for, none against and none abstaining.
