Cabinet noted the Revenue and Capital Outturn position for 2023/24 and the actions taken on it. It noted that this report will form an appendix to the Financial Statements report, which Council will consider in autumn 2024.

2024/25 Month 6 Monitoring Position and Projected Outturn 2025/26 Budget
RESOLVED: a. To note the 2024/25 projected outturn forecast including the projected year-end balance for the Joint Committee ReserveAccount. b. To recommend the 2025/26 budget, including the proposed drawdown and closing balance of the Reserve Account, to the Partnering Councils for approval as part of their respective budget planning frameworks for2025/26. c. To ask the Partnering Councils to note the indicative budgets, and associated partner contributions, outlined for the financial years 2026/27 to 2028/29.

The committee agreed that the Chairperson, on behalf of the committee, will write to the Cabinet Member with the committee's observations and recommendations when the Cabinet discusses the way forward.

Cabinet noted the revenue and capital outturn position for 2024/25 and the actions taken. It noted that this report will form an appendix to the Financial Statements report to be considered by Council in autumn 2025. Appendix 7 is not for publication because it contains exempt information.
Prosiect Gwyrdd Joint Committee
2025/26 budget monitoring and 2026/27 budget
The committee noted the projected spending position for 2025/26, including the expected year-end balance in the Joint Committee Reserve Account. It agreed to recommend the 2026/27 budget, including the planned drawdown from and closing balance of the reserve, to the partner councils for approval. It asked the partner councils to note indicative budgets and contributions for 2027/28 to 2029/30.
