Cardiff Works and vendor neutral agency worker services
Cabinet noted the progress being made by Cardiff Works, the Council's in-house recruitment service. It approved the overall approach to procuring Vendor Neutral Agency Worker Services (a single arrangement for buying temporary agency staff from several suppliers). It delegated authority to the Corporate Director of People and Communities, after consulting the Cabinet Member for Finance, Modernisation & Performance, to decide all aspects of the procurement, including evaluation criteria, starting the process, awarding contracts and related matters.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
