Setting the Committee's work programme for 2026/27
The Committee agreed to note the way forward for setting its outline work programme for 2026/27. A final version will come back to the Committee for formal approval in September 2026.

Work Programme 2026/27 and short scrutiny reviews
The Committee approved its 2026/27 Work Programme, with Atlantic Wharf pre-decision scrutiny moved from November to December. It approved short scrutinies on Innovation and on Playgrounds and Play Areas. It set up a Task and Finish Group, a small group that examines one topic, on a commemorative plaque scheme, appointing Councillors James Caruana and Peter Huw Jenkins, and agreed the Forward Work Plan for publication.
