Pentwyn Leisure Centre redevelopment and solar energy scheme
Cabinet approved the revised scheme for Pentwyn Leisure Centre, as shown in the design plans and the financial proposal in the confidential appendix. It delegated authority to the Director of Economic Development, after consulting the Cabinet Member for Culture, Parks and Events, the Section 151 Officer (the council's senior finance officer) and the Monitoring Officer (the officer who checks decisions are lawful), to run a public consultation and consider changes within the approved budget, to procure contractors within the financial limit, and to conclude leases with tenants, subject to due diligence and independent valuation. It approved the solar energy scheme in the confidential appendix and delegated authority to procure contractors for it within its financial limit.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
