Allocation of committee seats and appointments
Council agreed to approve the allocation of committee seats for 2024/25 as set out in Appendix A. It agreed to appoint members to each committee in line with the nominations from party groups on the amendment sheet. It asked the Interim Monitoring Officer (a senior officer who acts in this role while the post is filled on a temporary basis) to fill any remaining vacancies from further nominations and to report the appointments to the next Council meeting.

Council approved the allocation of committee seats to political groups for 2025/26, as set out in Appendix A. It appointed members to committees in line with party group nominations on the amendment sheet. It asked the Monitoring Officer to fill any remaining vacancies and to report all appointments to the next Council meeting.
