Motion on building safety and remediation after Grenfell
The Council agreed to write to residents in affected buildings about Council advice services for those in financial need. It agreed to support the Building Safety (Wales) Bill. It also called on the Welsh Government to set up a direct channel for leaseholders, tenants and residents to contact the Building Safety Team, ease financial burdens on those in hardship, consider sanctions against developers who delay work, reconsider a grant for sprinkler systems, train and resource councils for the Bill's new duties, and reconsider the position on sections 116 to 125 of the Building Safety Act 2022.

Motion on fairer funding for Wales
Council carried the motion as changed by a Labour amendment, which asks the UK Government to introduce mechanisms for fairer, needs-based funding for Wales. The changed motion also welcomes the funding increases to Wales since July 2024 and recognises the First Minister's call for fairer funding. The vote was 42 for, 10 against and 13 abstentions.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
