Community & Adult Services Scrutiny Committee. Scrutiny committees question decisions and can recommend changes. They don't make the decision.
Raising the maximum charge for non-residential social care
The Committee agreed that the Chair would write to the Cabinet Member setting out the Committee's observations and recommendations on the way forward.
Cabinet. The Cabinet makes most of the council's decisions.
Raising maximum charges for non-residential adult care
Cabinet agreed that, once Welsh Government decides to raise the maximum amount for non-residential charges, the new maximum will be applied as soon as possible after that decision. It also agreed to amend the Non-Residential Charging Policy to state that charges should reflect the cost of care, and that the Welsh Government maximum, including future increases, should be applied.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
