Core Office, Atlantic Wharf
Cabinet approved the updated Full Business Case for the new Core Office building, including the financial envelope and contingencies set out in confidential Appendix 2. It delegated authority to the Director of Economic Development, with the Cabinet Member for Investment & Development, the Legal Officer and the Section 151 Officer, to enter a Development Agreement with the successful bidder, and an Agreement for Lease with Wales Millennium Centre for the Capella Production Studio. This includes a power to dispose of the asset before completion if needed. Officers may also manage budgets for the interface between the Arena and Area A, and develop final fit-out plans, to return to Cabinet for final approval.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
