2024/25 revenue budget and multi-year capital programme
Cabinet noted that the Mid & West Wales Fire Authority budget increase is likely to add £497k to the Council's 2024/25 budget, about a 1.1% Council Tax rise. It noted a draft budget requirement of £192.470m and a possible rise of £4.15 a week (£17.99 a month) for a Band D home, the standard reference band for Council Tax. It also recorded a proposal that 25% of the Council Tax premium (an extra charge) on second homes and long-term empty properties go to the Community Housing Scheme, up to £2.0m, and 75% support the general budget.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
