Training- Town and Community Councils in 2024
AGREED that further training would be provided in 2024, and further consideration be given to present training sessions with actual cases/reports of misconduct. It was noted that the Ombudsman and Adjudication Panel for Wales reports were circulated to Clerks of all Town and Community Councils following each meeting of the committee. It was noted that feedback from the Clerks of Town and Community Councils on training needs of their Council could be requested as they had greater knowledge of the training need of their Members. AGREED as training was available on the Code of Conduct by One Voices Wales, that Town and Community Councils should contact them for training.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
