Community Housing Scheme
The Committee agreed to recommend that Cabinet support a refresh and relaunch of the scheme, including further branding work. It noted a recommendation made to Cabinet on 7 October 2025, and a report due on 16 February 2026 covering converting empty flats above council-owned shops into rental homes, building new homes on council land, and whether social housing grant could fund these.
