Recruiting an independent member to the Ethics and Standards Committee
The Council agreed to extend Carol Edwards' term on the Ethics and Standards Committee, which checks councillors' conduct, from 22 February 2024 to 21 February 2028. It also approved the role description, person specification and criteria for the vacancy, and the membership of the selection panel that will consider applicants.

RESOLVED to approve the appointment of Llinos James as Independent / Lay Member of the Ethics and Standards Committee, from 22 February 2024, for one term of 6 years up to 21/2/2030.
