Revised Code of Conduct for council employees
The committee agreed to recommend that Cabinet approve the revised Code of Conduct, subject to a further recommendation from the committee. Members agreed that the new duty of candour section (section 11) should say more clearly that staff must report any concerns, wrongdoing or errors they find anywhere in the council.

AGREED (i)that the contents of the report be noted; and (ii) that an information sheet, including guidance points, be developed to support Town and Community Councils Members on the Code of Conduct, in addition to the post-May 2027 elections training
