Choosing a preferred site for a Wellbeing Centre in Cardigan
The committee deferred the decision on the preferred site. Members will make a site visit to Fairfield Car Park, Cardigan Memorial Pool and Hall and Teifi Leisure Centre on 24 September. They will hold a special meeting on 27 September to discuss the site before Cabinet meets on 1 October.

To consider the Wellbeing Centre, Cardigan: to agree a preferred site for the Wellbeing Centre, following a site visit as agreed at the 17th of September 2024 Committee meeting
The Committee agreed to recommend to Cabinet, the council's main decision-making body of councillors, that the Cardigan Memorial Pool and Fairfield Car Park site be the preferred site, based on option B in the feasibility study. The Committee agreed that a new build, rather than refurbishing the old pool, is the preferred option on that site. The recommendation is subject to reducing the building's footprint, meaning the ground area it covers, so that fewer car parking spaces are lost.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
