Changes to councillors' responsibilities from 1 April 2025
The Council noted the changes, which take effect on 1 April 2025. Councillor Shelley Childs becomes Cabinet Member for Highways and Environmental Services, and carbon management moves to the Economy, Regeneration and Carbon Management portfolio.

Changes to councillor appointments
Council confirmed the Cabinet Member for Schools (currently Councillor Wyn Thomas) as a member and Vice Chair of the Corporate Parenting Group. It appointed Councillors Ann Bowen Morgan and Meirion Davies to the School Transport Appeals Panel. It appointed Councillor Clive Davies, the Cabinet Member for Carbon Management, as Member Champion for Sustainability from 17 July 2025. It appointed Councillor Endaf Edwards as Peace Ambassador from 18 June 2025.
