Council Tax Reduction Scheme for 2025/26
The Council noted the making of the 2025 amending regulations. It adopted the prescribed national rules as its Council Tax Reduction Scheme for 2025/26, with three local discretions. It kept a 100% disregard for war pensions above the statutory £10, and did not extend the 4-week payment period or the 3-month backdating period. The vote was unanimous.

Council Tax Reduction Scheme for 2026/27
Council unanimously adopted the Welsh Government's prescribed scheme as the Council Tax Reduction Scheme for 2026/27. It kept three local choices as they were: a full disregard for war pensions above the first £10, no extension of the 4-week payment period, and no extension of the 3-month backdating period.
