Planning Committee
43 homes at 11 Gorwel, Llanfairfechan
The Committee decided that it is minded to refuse planning permission, with the decision delegated to the Development and Building Control Manager. Members gave two reasons: the extra traffic on the local road network and highway safety, and the site lying outside the Local Development Plan (LDP) settlement boundary, the line that marks where new housing is normally allowed. The application will go back to a future Committee meeting, because the decision goes against officers' advice.

Gorwel housing: reaffirming the refusal decision
The committee reaffirmed its resolution to be minded to refuse planning permission for 43 homes at 11 Gorwel, Llanfairfechan, because the site lies outside the settlement boundary and fails to comply with Local Development Plan policies. It authorised the Development and Building Control Manager to issue the decision under delegation.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
