The committee was minded to grant conditional planning permission. This was against the officers' recommendation to refuse. Under the approved procedure, the application will go back to the next meeting for further consideration. Because the proposal does not follow the Local Development Plan, it must also be advertised as a departure. The Development and Building Control Manager was authorised to determine the application under delegation.

RESOLVED: (a) That the Planning Committee be minded to grant planning permission, subject to no objections being received in response to the press notice, and subject to the conditions included in the Addendum. (b) In the event that any relevant objections are received in response to the press notice by the 7 August 2024, that the matter be referred back to a future meeting of the Planning Committee. (c) That the Development and Building Control Manager be authorised to determine the application under delegation.
