New incentives for foster carers
The committee recommended that Cabinet approve up to 100% discretionary relief on Council Tax for foster carers who are on the Council Tax register. It also recommended that foster carers be offered a choice of six Council parking permits for free, with the Council Tax relief depending on Council approving the revised relief policy.

Cabinet approved two incentives for foster carers: up to 100% discretionary Council Tax relief for carers on the Council Tax register, subject to approval of a revised discretionary relief policy. Foster carers will also be offered a choice of six Council parking permits for free.
