RESOLVED: That the update report on Conwy Harbour operations be noted.
The Harbour Master presented a report on the developments and operations of Conwy Harbour and highlighted key points from within the report. In considering the report, Members made reference to the following: • The retrieval of abandoned or damaged vessels and the associated impact on harbour resources. • It was noted that the introduction of commercial vessel mooring fees had not, to date, resulted in any loss of operatives. • The need to keep speed limits under regular review was highlighted. • The importance of obtaining clear footage/ evidence of reckless behaviour within the harbour, linked to the vessel e.g., via the vessel registration number was emphasised. • The work placement scheme was commended as a success. RESOLVED: That the update report on Conwy Harbour operations be noted.

Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
