Partnerships Scrutiny Committee. Scrutiny committees question decisions and can recommend changes. They don't make the decision.
Our Rhyl regeneration plan and Pride in Place funding
The Committee resolved to recommend that Cabinet, when it considers the plan, has regard to the Committee's views. The Committee asked the Our Rhyl Board to: remove references to specific strategic projects and replace them with a Strategic Project Fund; support a Community Regeneration Fund for smaller community projects; engage with the local community after the plan is submitted to seek project ideas; and review the Board's membership and governance.
Cabinet. The Cabinet makes most of the council's decisions.
Our Rhyl draft vision and regeneration plan
Cabinet endorsed the draft Our Rhyl documents for submission to UK Government, subject to the changes proposed by the Partnerships Scrutiny Committee being made.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
