PANEL PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT ARRANGEMENTS
RESOLVED, That Governance and Audit Committee considered the proposal outlined in paragraph 4.6 of the report and recommend a change to the constitution for County Council approval on November 14.

Appointing peers to the Panel Performance Assessment
Cabinet approved the selected peers for the panel, which will include a senior officer peer, a senior elected member peer, an independent chair and two peers from the public, private or voluntary sectors. A fifth candidate, a Welsh speaker from North Wales, was added for the wider sector role after Councillor Gwyneth Ellis proposed an amendment.
