Review of the Climate and Ecological Change Strategy
The Committee agreed to support the start of the strategy's review and refresh during 2023/24, subject to the observations made. It also supported the approach for adopting a refreshed strategy in early 2024, including pre-decision engagement with the Committee before Cabinet and County Council adopt it.

RESOLVED that – · The Governance and Audit Committee note the Council’s key performance indicator performance for 2022/23 and direction of travel in achieving Net Carbon Zero Council, Ecologically Positive Council and 35% reduction in Supply Chain Emissions by 2030. · The Governance and Audit Committee note the consultation on Year 3 update of the Climate and Ecological Change Strategy and governance for adoption.
