Final budget outturn 2024/25 (revenue and capital)
Cabinet will note the committee's points on both reports. Officers agreed to check school figures with Education colleagues and to circulate a revised document on moratorium savings, as the information was incomplete.

Revenue Budget Monitoring 2024/25 Final outturn
RESOLVED: (a) That the overall report and the Council Fund contingency sum available as at 31st March, 2025 (subject to audit) be noted; (b) That the final level of balances on the Housing Revenue Account (subject to audit) be noted; and (c) That the carry forward requests be approved.

2025/26 revenue and capital outturn
The committee had no specific comments on the revenue outturn to refer to Cabinet. The committee's comments on the capital outturn will be noted by Cabinet. Members agreed that the section on investment in county towns could be dropped from future reports, because collating it takes many resources.
