Community & Housing Overview & Scrutiny Committee. Scrutiny committees question decisions and can recommend changes. They don't make the decision.
Varying occupation contracts under the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016
The Committee acknowledged the legal framework for varying occupation contracts, including limits on changing existing terms. It acknowledged that Legal Services must confirm that every change is lawful and does not disadvantage contract holders. It supported the completed workplan, agreed that only lawful, non-detrimental changes will go forward, and agreed that full consultation with contract holders will take place before any change.

Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
