Social & Health Care Overview & Scrutiny Committee. Scrutiny committees question decisions and can recommend changes. They don't make the decision.
Charging for Appointeeship services
The committee supported setting up a charging structure for Appointeeship cases that the council manages. It also supported including a third charging option, put forward by Councillor Alasdair Ibbotson, in the consultation. Members also supported an additional recommendation on regular review, ability to pay and the guiding principles suggested by the Chief Officer, and Cabinet will look at the plan before any final decision.
Cabinet. The Cabinet makes most of the council's decisions.
Charging for Appointeeship
RESOLVED: That Cabinet approve the implementation of a charging structure for local authority managed Appointeeship cases.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
