Community reviews: final recommendations on town and community boundaries
Council approved the final recommendations in the report, with one change. Councillors voted to change paragraph 5.5 of the Final Recommendations Report so it matches paragraph 5.26 and the representations from Pen Y Ffordd Community Council and Buckley Town Council. Council agreed to send the amended recommendations to the Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales, and to delegate to the Head of Legal Services the power to make and seal the Order, the legal document that gives effect to the changes. Councillor Ibbotson's proposal to defer the debate was lost.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
