UK Shared Prosperity Fund: lead authority and governance
The Cabinet agreed that Gwynedd Council will be the lead authority for the fund in North Wales, on behalf of the six North Wales counties. It agreed the regional and local governance structures, and authorised the Head of Economy and Community to agree a legal agreement with the other authorities. It set up the Shared Prosperity Fund: Gwynedd Panel to confirm which projects receive money. A right to appoint a deputy to the Panel was added during the meeting.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
