Complaints task and finish group report
The committee agreed the group's recommendations. It asked the Cabinet Members for Children and Supporting Families and for Adults, Health and Well-being to write to the Welsh Government to express concern that complaints guidance has not been updated since 2014 and that social media is not considered as a way to make complaints. It asked departments to make the tables in future social services complaints reports complete and up to date. It recommended that the Cabinet Member review the corporate complaints form and make it more like the social services forms, to promote and improve access to Welsh-language forms. It asked departments to note on complaint forms that the Council can be contacted through social media, and asked the Council to consider ways for carers to make complaints.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
