The committee resolved to refuse the application in line with the officers' recommendation. Reasons: the proposal would create new permanent alternative camping accommodation in a Special Landscape Area, contrary to policy TWR 3 point 1 and policy PCYFF 1; and it would harm neighbours' amenities through activity, disturbance and noise, contrary to policy PCYFF 2 criterion 7. A motion to approve was proposed and seconded but fell in the vote.
