Planning Committee
Refusal of 24 houses, Caernarfon Road, Eastern Plot, Pwllheli
The committee refused the application, against officers' advice. The reasons were a lack of affordable housing, too little information on the housing mix and balance, and Welsh language matters, and the application will go to a cooling-off period (a set period for review before the decision is final).
Planning Committee
Outline plans for housing on Caernarfon Road, Pwllheli (eastern plot)
The Committee delegated powers to the Head of Environment Department to approve this outline application. Approval is subject to receiving the observations of the Gwynedd Archaeological Planning Service and to 32 conditions. The conditions include 30% affordable homes, a Welsh name for the estate and houses, bilingual signs, and homes used as permanent residences (use class C3). Outline means the application sets the principle and access only. Details of design and layout come later.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
