Corporate Strategy 2025 to 2028

Corporate Strategy 2024 to 2028
Cabinet approved the Corporate Strategy for 2024 to 2028, having regard to the Integrated Impact Assessment. The aims will need ongoing review because government funding is uncertain. Cabinet delegated power to the Director of Strategy and Corporate Services, after consulting the Leader, Deputy Leader and Chief Executive, to make final changes that do not materially change the plan. Cabinet also recommended the strategy to Council for formal adoption on 9 July 2025.

Council adopted the Corporate Strategy for 2025/2028. It noted that the priorities will need ongoing review because of uncertainty over Government funding. The Director of Strategy & Corporate Services was given delegated authority, meaning power to act without a further meeting, to make further changes before publication, provided they do not materially change the plan.
