The committee voted 7 to 6 to uphold Cabinet's decision of 7 July 2025. That decision approved Option 4, a flat grant from April 2026 to March 2029, meaning the same cash sum each year, not linked to inflation. It also delegated authority to the Head of Cultural, Leisure and Registration Services to agree the final terms of the new agreement.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
