Purchase of 32 electric vans already bought
Cabinet gave retrospective approval for the purchase of 21 small and 11 large electric vans from FleetEV, under the Welsh Government Electric Vehicle Collaborative Framework, at a total cost of £1,104,751.55. It noted that the Chief Executive has commissioned an audit of the governance arrangements and of compliance with the Council's financial and contract rules. It also noted a management investigation into how an Individual Cabinet Member Decision (ICM), a decision by one Cabinet member, came to be presented without full information about the vans already bought. The motion was carried by eight votes to none, with no abstentions.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
