Review of second homes and empty homes Council Tax premiums
The committee recommended that Cabinet consider keeping the 150% second homes premium and the 300% premium on long-term empty homes. It also recommended 50% discretionary relief for second homes let for more than 140 days but fewer than 182 days, so that they pay an effective 100%. Properties let for fewer than 140 days would keep paying 150%. Premium income would be split 90% to budget elements for affordable housing and sustainable communities, 8% to the Affordable Housing programme and 2% to the Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant scheme. The motion passed by 8 votes to none, with 2 abstentions.

Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
