Quarter 2 budget monitoring and capital programme
The Committee asked the Schools and Learning Overview and Scrutiny Committee to look at school budget deficits and how schools are supported. It also asked the Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee to consider the social care overspend. The Committee noted the 2024-25 capital programme update.

RESOLVED (a) That the Budget Monitoring report Quarter 2 2024-25 be noted. (b) That a report outlining the legal situation in relation to Second Homes Premium Tax be presented to the Committee so due consideration can be given to the matter before any referral is made to the relevant Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
