Review of Enforcement Services
Members asked for the process of gathering evidence from environment staff on dog fouling to be shared with them. The Committee agreed to run publicity campaigns urging residents to use only licensed waste operatives, and to highlight dog fouling more widely. It also agreed to work with local schools and Community Councils to reduce dog fouling. A report in about three months will set out the provision of a camera car (a car with cameras that spots parking offences) for parking enforcement, with procurement and running costs, and costings for two extra officers for environmental enforcement.

Camera car for parking enforcement and dog fouling measures
The committee supported a camera car for parking enforcement, where it applies. It recommended that savings from the camera car be used for environmental enforcement and dog fouling.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
