Engagement with pupil voice and well-being
The Committee was assured that a wide range of methods supports pupil voice and that these inform services. It asked for representatives from the Senedd, the Youth Justice Service and the School Council Forum to attend a future meeting. It asked for the Pupil Voice and Wellbeing report to come to the January 2025 meeting, with research on where CAMHS is most needed. It recommended that the Chief Officer raise the Committee's concerns about long waits for the Neurodevelopment Service at appropriate meetings. It thanked the Senedd for its positive contributions.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
