Appointment of Member to Outside Body - Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership
RESOLVED – (i) That Councillor Jeremy Kent be appointed to represent the Council on Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership for the period up to the date of the next local government elections in 2027. (ii) That this matter be dealt with as an urgent item of business in accordance with Section 5 (Rule 5.8.10) of the Council’s Constitution. Reason for decisions To ensure that the Council is appropriately represented on the outside body identified in the report and to enable the Member to attend meetings with immediate effect.

Substitute member for national adoption and fostering committee
The Board appointed Councillor John Pritchard as substitute, in the absence of the Lead Member for Children's and Family Services, until the 2027 local elections. The Board agreed the matter was urgent, so it could be decided now rather than at a later meeting.
