Re-instating reasons for refusal at Holt Road appeal
The Committee re-instated two reasons for refusal from 27 July 2020, in amended form: the site lies outside the settlement limit and inside a green barrier, and the loss of best and most versatile farmland is not justified. Councillor Marc Jones, the Vice-Chair, was nominated to act as the Council's expert witness, with officer support. This is subject to efforts to appoint outside consultants producing no expressions of interest.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
