Nominations for Mayor and Deputy Mayor 2025/26
The meeting recommended to the Annual Meeting of the Council that Councillor Tina Mannering be nominated for Mayor of the County Borough for 2025/26, and that Councillor Jeremy Kent be nominated for Deputy Mayor. Both nominations are subject to the nominees accepting the office.

Election of Mayor
Councillor Tina Mannering was elected Mayor of the County Borough for the ensuing year. The motion was moved by Councillor Mark Pritchard, seconded by Councillor David A Bithell, and passed unanimously.
