Planning Committee
Plan for 152 homes off Derwen Lane, Penrhyn Bay
The committee deferred consideration of the application until its next meeting. Members were supportive of the deferral, and people registered to speak were told to wait until then.
Planning Committee
152 homes and a car park, Derwen Lane, Penrhyn Bay
Members were minded to grant conditional planning permission. This is subject to a Section 106 legal agreement (a binding deal with the developer) covering commuted sums, the car park, a habitat management plan, protection for the Special Area of Conservation, and affordable homes. Members also asked for a condition requiring a height barrier across the car park entrance and exit to deter illegal encampments. If the agreement is not settled within three months, permission will be refused.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
