UK Government Pride in Place Programme: choosing the neighbourhood
Cabinet approved Tudno 1, Tudno 2 and Mostyn 2 in Llandudno as the neighbourhood to submit to the UK Government by 9 January 2026. It noted that the Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation (WIMD), a measure of deprivation, was the main data source used to identify the area, as UK Government guidance requires. It recognised that an independent Neighbourhood Board, which will be independently chaired, will allocate the funding. It agreed that the decision be exempt from call-in, a process that lets councillors ask for a decision to be reviewed, so the submission could be sent on time.

Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
