It also authorised the Democratic Services Manager, after consulting the Chair, to change the programme between meetings as needed. Two items were confirmed for December: the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales annual letter, and cash payment facilities at Council Connect Centres.
Decided: The committee noted the progress made on actions. It agreed to mark two actions as complete: the first action on the Medium Term Financial Strategy from July, and the action on the Interim Revenue Budget Monitoring report. Decided: The committee supported the Corporate Self-Assessment Report 2025/26 and agreed the actions to address areas for improvement. It also acknowledged and endorsed progress on the actions from the last Improvement Plan. The recommendations were supported, with a minor change to the wording to reflect the committee's role.
Decided: The committee agreed to refer its comments on the revenue budget monitoring report to Cabinet, and its comments on the capital programme monitoring report to Cabinet.
