That the minutes of the previous meeting of the Social Care and Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee held on 22 July, 2026 be approved and signed as a correct record.

Decided: The committee noted the report. It recommended that Cabinet approve the report and support the council's improvements in services to people in the area.
Decided: The committee agreed that the placemaking workshop be held on 25 September 2026 and that the placemaking report go to the November meeting. It agreed that the culture strategy report go to the October meeting, which will move to 12 October 2026. It agreed that the anti-poverty strategy and destination management plan reports go to the December 2026 meeting. Members expressed concern about repeated delays to the anti-poverty strategy and asked officers to tell them the committee expects it in December 2026.

Decided: The committee thanked the Lead Member, the Chair of the Wrexham Culture Trust and officers for their report and presentation. It fully supported the work to progress the bid. It agreed that a future report be considered once the outcome of the bid is known. It also asked for the team behind the promotional video to be thanked.

It agreed that the Board's annual report for 2026/27 be considered at the September 2027 meeting. It also agreed that an information report on the current status of Wrexham Gateway be submitted by November 2026.
